Clear Advice Business (CAB) is a business advisory firm working exclusively with owners of small to mid-size companies ($10m-100m) to help navigate the complex journey toward a successful exit. Advising business owners for three generations, Clear Advice Business leverages our family and business legacy to help you build yours. 

 

Beginning with the first generation, in 1959 Jules Donner entered the tax world as an accountant. When ERISA was passed in 1974, Jules founded a successful pension consulting company. As a visionary and tax expert, he solved complex tax and planning issues for business owners and implemented creative pension vehicles that are still used today.

Eric Donner joined the family business in 1986 just as major legislation (Tax Reform Act of 1986) was causing wide-reaching changes for business owners and real estate developers, propelling Eric into the world of business advisory. Working in pensions and estate tax planning with his father, Eric recognized the evolving legacy planning needs of business owners. After 35 years in the financial service industry, Eric founded Clear Advice Business in 2018 to help owners build, protect, and monetize their business. 

                                   

Joshua Donner joined the family business in 2022 after establishing a successful career fundraising for a bi-partisan foreign policy political organization where he met regularly with key stakeholders, organized leadership councils, and lobbied Senators and representatives. With a background in organizational psychology and a proven track record in relationship building, strategic planning, and business analytics, Josh oversees day-to-day operations and works directly with clients to facilitate the many facets of the exit planning process.
